There's nothing like a change in season to bring back an overwhelming wave of nostalgia.
While time continues to only move forward, our minds have the ability to move backwards; to reminisce on moments that once brought us joy and happiness.
I pass by store fronts, parks, cafes, street corners, eateries, photographs and recollect just about every good, happy memory and deep, great mind- boggling conversation.
It's that easy for me to associate people with familiar places.
It's even easier for me to imagine people with unfamiliar places I've only been to alone. I picture how they would probably thoroughly enjoy the experience as much as I did.
But just like the weather, people are also fickle and as soon as spring comes, heavy rain follows and there's a reason why storms are named after people.
Never prevent yourself from creating new memories and new associations with old, familiar places. Remember that storms can pass as fast as you would any location.
Practice forward living with thoughts of treasured past.
You are you because of it. You are not you without it.
Never forget the experiences and people that molded you.
